Seminar “Geosensorial Tasting Approach” By Prof. Jacky Rigaux

Jacky Rigaux is a famous wine writer, wine critic and researcher of Université de Bourgogne. He is known as passionate advocate of importance of terroir in wine, which he explored in his books “Le Terroir et le Vigneron, Terre en Vues”, “Grands cru de Bourgogne”, “Le réveil des terroirs – Défense et illustration des ‘climats’ de Bourgogne” and others.

Geosensorial approach to tasting emphasizes importance of geographical and geological factors that influence wine – soil, climate and nuances of terroir that make their way into the glass.
